Meditation is a state of greater harmony on all levels of being: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual; It is a practice of withdrawing your attention from all distractions—environmental or mental—and placing it wholly on your deeper, inner reality. Yoga, as the word is used here, refers to those practices/techniques of body, mind, & energy which lead to inner peace and expansive awareness.

Education for Life offers a constructive and brilliant alternative to what has been called the disaster of modern education. The need for a change is universally recognized. The statistics of illiteracy, drug abuse, and violence speak for themselves. J. Donald Walters created Education For Life to address the education crisis which emphasizes technological competence at the expense of spiritual values, which alone can give higher meaning to life. Education for Life offers parents, educators, and concerned citizens everywhere techniques that are both compassionate and practical.

Spiritual cooperative communities invite spirituality into all areas of daily life, whether at school, work, or in the home. At the core of spiritual living are central spiritual practices like yoga and meditation, as well as dedication to high-minded values such as kindness, respect, and simple living. Paramhansa Yogananda left us practical and easy applicable wisdom for radiant health and healing. These include techniques for recharging the body with energy, food guidelines for what he coined as “propereatarianism”, Divine Will Healing, affirmations for physical, mental, & spiritual healing, vibrational/sound healing, heliotropic healing, and much more.

Material and spiritual success are the inevitable result of a positive thinking mind, energized by the patient application of willpower, and clarified by cultivating calm inner feeling. The true success of an undertaking depends more than anything else on the spirit of the people involved in it; and the spirit of those people is a reflection, always, of the spirit of its leader. Purpose comes first from deepening your own inner reality, and then creatively expressing the inspiration you find within
